Spring is in the yard

Spring is a time of rebirth in the yard.  I love to see how the change in the yard turns green and colorful in one month’s time.  This year it looks like the flowers are coming in nicely and with the help of a landscaper I am going to have neat beds and a yard I can relax in. My memorial stones for my husband Mike and even our dog Lucky only enhance my appreciation that I can still live in my home after becoming a widow and I can continue to care for something important.

  1. I am so glad that you said a lawn service was perfect for you. I’m 72 a widow of almost 14 months. I gave lawn service and they do fall clean up and plow my driveway in the winter and if they come early enough they clean my sidewalks. I could never do all of that on my own. I do take care of my flowers and do shovel a path to my bird feeders in the winter. I feel like you have vindacted me. People who are not widows just don’t get it. We need help. Thank you

    1. Absolutely and we can find ways to help ourselves too. Hiring others is one way and we’ll worth it. Thanks for reading.
